I am one who likes to check out all the things business people are doing online these days and one thing that has stood out time and time again.

Whenever I join someones newsletter to get information and see what they are offering customers I find that all I get is spammed silly little links to buy stuff AL THE TIME.

I mean really…

Building customer relations and trust is the most important thing a business person can do these days. Providing value for your customers should be the paramount concern.

I personally have not been one to subscribe to this thinking of getting as many people as possible on a list so you can sell them things over and over again for years to come.

The approach I have prefered to take and FMT customers can verify this to be true….

Sell a customer something that provides real value in their life and then constantly strive to over deliver on what that customer wants and needs without selling them junk every time they log into their email.

You see, I have a different approach to business and my customers. I do not see my customers as people who will constantly buy whatever crap I toss their way…

I want my customers to be thrilled with what they have recieved and continue to receive from me and go tell all their friends and family about this wonderful guy helping people make money online. MANY people would say I am losing money by not offering things for my customers to buy.

I completely disagree and because I come from old school customer service ways of thinking, I believe this to be true….

Provide value to a customers life and they MAY tell someone about your business…

Rip someone off and they will tell EVERYONE they know to avoid your business.

I want FMT customers to be the happiest people around. I want them to truly be able to make a difference in their lives by using the FMT material.

Think about this the next time you join someones “free” newsletter or sign up for some other “free” information. Notice how often that person “recommends” something for you to buy.

Are they really trying to help you and provide value in your life or are they looking to make as much money off you as they can.

I sell one program, FMT, that is it…

I do not believe that people looking to make money online or start a home business online need to spend hundred or thousands of dollars chasing crap programs, automation tools or even worse, EASY MONEY…

There is no easy money unless of course you have a newsletter with thousands of people that blindly buy things..

That is just not my style.

Jim Rohn passed away on December 5, 2009…

Mr. Rohn was not a business trainer in the traditional sense but his common sense approach of mastering the basics of something before moving on is really a core value of our Make Money Online video series.

The last minute of this video had a dramatic impact on gorwing my business and ultimately the path I have followed in helping people build their own businesses or incomes as well.

In a recent interview on Larry King with Magic Johnson, Tony Robbins and Google Ceo Eric Schmidt engaged in a conversation about business in the current economy as well as employment issues.

During this conversation Schmidt commented on exactly where FMT believes the true future of growth in small business resides.

Google Ceo Eric Schmidt – “In the case of the autoworker perhaps that autoworker is a fisherman or has – is a fan and all of a sudden could become a blogger and become well known because of his or her expertise. And with that, begin to make money on the side that eventually becomes a good source of revenue. There are opportunities even in our business using the internet.”

The find the example he used of the auto worker fitting because it is a large group of people that are looking for new careers or means of earning an income.  There are many of these folks that are facing some sort of career retraining or perhaps relocation from communities they grew up in to earn a living.

This is where I love to see someone like Mr. Schmidt commenting on the legitimate ways to make money online. There is a ton of stuff out there and many of the truly helpful pieces of information get lumped in with the fly by night, pie in the sky stuff…

If anyone would know about possibilities to make money using the internet I think the CEO of Google would know.

Well not really 2.0 lol.

Everyone seems to use that these days so we like to joke about it.

Imagine you are sitting at your computer one day searching for ways to make money online or online home based business ideas and suddenly something happened.

You discovered a way to know what everyone on the internet wants every time they search for something. I mean EVERYTHING that EVERYONE wanted.

What would you do?

Do you know how many people have this information every single day and they either do not know what to do with it or they simply do nothing at all. Yes, this information is readily accessible to anyone that wants to know what everyone wants every time they go to a search engine.

This is how easy it can be to learn one of the best ways to make money online or simply take whatever you would be interested in doing and making money with that.

This is the one fundamental to making money online no matter what you are doing online that everyone must master to become successful. Google tells us this information. All we have to do is learn how to intrepet the information and present the right things in front of these folks.

You can learn to see what EVERYONE wants EVERYTIME they search for something online as well as how to apply free techniques to make money or start a home based business.

Imagine you worked for Walmart and they decided that your job would now be to meet people at the door, find out what they want and help them get everything they needed.

When finished you escort them to the checkout, scan a badge code and you receive a percentage of the sale as a commission.

How many people a day do you think you could help shop at Walmart ever day and how much could you earn getting paid this way?

This Is The Opportunity Presented…

Thousands of companies on the internet like Walmart, Target, Amazon and many other MAJOR retailers as well as unlimited numbers of small niche companies are offering anyone an opportunity.

Greet the customers (web searchers) at the door (Google,Yahoo,MSN, etc.) and help them find the things they want to buy. Escort them to checkout and get paid a percentage of the sale as a commission.

The cool thing is there are more doors than there are people greeting customers. This opens opportunity for us to set up shop at the doors no one else is paying attention or barely paying attention. Customers are not being greeted….

What Creates The Doors?

Every single search term a person types into one of those major search engines creates a door.

If people are searching Google for “Left Handed Golf Clubs By Nike” then anyone set up at the front of that door has a chance to help that customer find what they want and buy it…and earn a nice little commission in return.

How many people search the exact same way using the exact same words? THAT is how many doors need to be covered to greet all the shoppers.

How many people search for:

• John Mayer Music
• John Mayer CDs
• John Mayer Concert Tickets
• John Mayer Music Downloads
• John Mayer iTunes
• etc. etc. etc.

There are tons of doors for just measley ole John Mayer alone!

The volume of customers to greet is on a constant increase and will remain that way for MANY years to come.

More customers shopping online = more searches = more doors that need people to greet customers.

Understand some basic information about how to set up at the doors customers need help and you can generate a fulltime living as large as you desire.

Seems like the coolest Walmart job is found online…

You bet it is AND it is potentially the highest paying job..

THAT is how big of an opportunity we are talking about with Free Money Truth

There are those born to sell things and there are those that have no interest in selling anything at all.

The cool thing about starting a business online is you can be just as sucessful NOT selling anything as you can if you want to sell things. Actually I believe NOT selling is a much better approach to building a business online.

I will use my Free Money Truth site as an example.

I do not sell anything on that site. I help people that have a desire to build a solid and long term consistent business online.

IF you are providing information to people that is of solid value for the price then there is no need to have to convince anyone to pay for the whatever is on your site. They either will buy or they will not. Maybe it is not for them.

That is cool either way.

My point is that when building your business it is more important to provide value to any potential customer. Even though our business does not touch product or deal with customers in any way really.  Connecting with a customer by providing value in what they read is what moves them to click on recommended links.

This should always be done in a honest manner. I do not recommend getting in the habit of “review” sites or content because you are really getting in on the back end of a market style. There are much more subtle approaches that yield a wider range of potential earnings.

Think about one thing that you would love to write about online. Imagine you have a chance to get a job making $100,000+ per year and all you have to do is write about one thing every single day. AND you get to pick what one thing you will write about.

What would be your one thing?

Now if you could write about that one thing and you knew people either enjoyed reading about it OR it provided information they were looking to find…….

How easy would it be to figure out things those people would be interested in buying?

If you write about the Rolling Stones do you think the people searching and reading what you write might be interested in:

1. Autographed Rolling Stones Items
2. Old Stones Concert T-shirts, Posters, Etc.
3. Want to buy and download Stones music

The point is that in this example we are not selling anything. We are providing information about the Rolling Stones that people are interested in reading AND adding in some things they might be interested in purchasing as Rolling Stones fans.

It is quite possible to simply write about things and earn money online without ever suggesting that anyone buy a product.

Provide useful information that people are looking to find and give them helpful resources for more information or help if that is what they want.
